Crown Vic 2019 - is an action thriller film.. about a seasoned police officer who is paired with a newbie.. hitting the brutal city streets.. in search of two cop killers .. along with trying to just ride out the night and stay alive during their shift.. However the streets are not all they end up having to deal with.. much more drama than I definitely bargained for but overall I think it was a good representation of the brutality in and around being a police officer.. not to mention .. I don't doubt there are good and bad police officers..  after all there are good and bad people everywhere..  I know the film met with mixed reviews.. but I thought it was intense .. and emotional.. Black and Blue 2019 is a action thriller with a truly outstanding cast including Naomie Harris and Tyrese Gibson.. The story follows a rookie cop who after she witnesses a murder goes on the run.. because not only did she witness it but her body cam has it on tape.. I loved this film.. action and drama all the way.. she has to keep her wits about her throughout .. in order to save not only her life but make sure the video gets into the proper hands.. LOVE LOVE IT.. and the film keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish..


The Goldfinch 2019  is a drama film adapted from a 2013 novel by the same name by Donna Tartt.. the film is about a young man named Theodore Decker .. whose life is transformed after his mother dies in a terrorist bomb attack at a museum.. from which he takes a famous painting called The Goldfinch..   This film is intriguing .. sharp.. and complex ..  I enjoyed it


Overcomer 2019 is a Christian drama film.. about a high school basketball coach who agrees to be the running coach.. however his only runner is Hannah Scott who has asthma..   I loved this film.. truly endearing and charming .. a great family film.. .. also uplifting for the soul..  Amazing

Bob Hearts Abishola (or BOB ❤️ ABISHOLA) 2019 - is a comedy series starring Billy Gardell (Bob) and Folake Olowofoyeku (Abishola) .. I love this show.. the story is based on a man that owns a thriving sock business and after a hospital stay falls for his nurse... Abishola is a Nigerian born nurse who came to America for a better life for her son and parents.. Again I can't even explain how funny this show truly is.. LOVE IT .. a must see series..that I hopes returns in 2020..


See 2019 is a sci-fi drama series for Apple TV.. and is based that in the distant future ..the human race has lost their sense of sight.. where of course they have learned to hunt, interact and survive..blind.. The show starts as the wife of a village warrior Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) gives birth to twins.. (who can see) .. something that has to be hidden so as to protect the children.. It would be impossible to say much more other than this..  it's a very well done series.. with an outstanding cast.. and gripping story line.. I love it.. and definitely see the series as growing in popularity  .. in many respects like that of GOT, Outlander and other binge worthy series.. "SEE" is well worth watching .. TRAILER

Mrs. Fletcher 2019  is a new comedy series on HBO.. based on a novel by the same name by Tom Perrotta.. The series stars Kathryn Hahn as Mrs. Fletcher .. who after seeing her marriage fail.. and her only son go off to college .. finds her self exploring what is next in her life including exploring her sexuality.. The series is definitely funny and each week I find myself eagerly waiting to see what else she gets into..


Servant 2019  is a psychological horror series for Apple TV.. and has already been sighted to be renewed for a second season.. I can honestly say this series reminds me of American Horror Story in a way.. It is scary and yet engrossing from start to finish.. a thriller that has just the right amount of creepiness.. The series starts out with a couple who after suffering a traumatic loss of a infant.. is awaiting the arrival of a nanny for their reborn baby doll.. that the wife has seemingly adopted as her own child.. in order to survive the loss .. extremely sad.. and yet within just a short time the nanny (servant) appears to have performed some sort of voodoo ..  I definitely don't want to say anymore.. Just watch this wickedly chilling series.. and let me know what you think.. Trailer

Frozen 2 or Frozen II 2019 - is a Disney animated musical fantasy film and the sequel to the 2013 film Frozen.. of course in this film all amazing voices of the original crew are back joined by some newcomers.. and the story is just as charming as the first film.. LOVED it.. and my beloved grand-daughters loved it as well.. The story is set three years after the events of the first film.. and Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven set off on a journey beyond their kingdom of Arendelle.. to discover the origin of Elsa's powers and to save their kingdom after a mysterious voice calls out to Elsa..

I don't want to spoil the film.... This is a must see film.. for the whole family.. Movie Trailer 


Lady and the Tramp 2019  is a live action musical adaptation of the Disney 1955 animated Lady and the Tramp .. The new movie is a frame by frame remake of the original but it is a new remake of it.. and I loved it... while of course I will always be in love with the original animated film.. which I grew up on.. this one is just as charming.. A must see for the whole family..  Trailer



The Addams Family 2019  is a kids CGI animated fantasy comedy horror film.. and a reboot to the 1991 film by the same name.. The movie features an outstanding cast of voices.. from Charlize Theron to Snoop Dogg.. and is a very endearingly and funny remake of the long standing Addams Family franchise.. Even though the film met with mixed reviews.. I enjoyed it immensely .. very funny.. a real must see for the entire family..  Trailer

Where'd You Go, Bernadette 2019 is a comedy film in which Cate Blanchette plays a agoraphobic architect and mother named Bernadette Fox.. Bernadette was an outstanding and award winning architect and I won't give away the reason that she somehow lost herself.. but when she goes missing after being confronted with an intervention of sorts .. her daughter and husband end up going to find her .. the story is not only funny .. but charming and tugs at your heart strings.. Definitely loved the mudslide..  LOVED it.. definitely a must see film...Movie Trailer



Charlie's Angels 2019  is a action comedy film directed by Elizabeth Banks.. It is the third installment in the Charlie's Angels film series.. and a continuation of the story that began with the Charlie's Angels series.. I had some reservations about watching the new film but I did .. simply because I grew up on the original angels.. and loved the series.. and movies.. however I was somewhat disappointed simply because it was like most sequels that never live up to the hype ....
I really enjoy Kristen Stewart in the Twilight films but in this film she didn't win me over .. I did however think that Ella Balinska did an excellent job as a real badass angel.. and the third angel was Naomi Scott who plays a new recruit.. The film has of course some action sequences but just lacks in the charm of the original angels.. However at the end there is some references to the original angels.. and if you're a true angel fan.. you will still love it.. just because it is a sequel and it is always fun to compare films I think.. Harriet 2019 -  is a biographical historic drama about the slave who ended up becoming a abolitionist (including with the underground railroad) Harriet Tubman.. This film is amazing .. I was completely engrossed in the film from start to finish.. and found myself overwhelmed more than once about her drive in not only obtaining her freedom but how she bravely helped free many other slaves.... The cast is outstanding .. including that of Cynthia Erivo who played Harriet Tubman..  Amazing film.. well worth watching..Harriet Tubman  Movie


Brian Banks 2019 - is an inspiring biographical drama film starring Aldis Hodge as Brian Banks.. a black high school football player who was falsely accused of rape and railroaded into taking a plea .. that lead him to wrongly being incarcerated for years.. I have to admit I was not aware of this story before watching the film .. The film is truly enlightening and touching .. I loved it.. The cast is outstanding.. Terminator: Dark Fate 2019 -  is a sci-fi action film.. and the sixth installment in the TERMINATOR FRANCHISE  The Terminator (1984)  Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Terminator Salvation (2009), Terminator Genisys (2015).. I loved it.. Full of action and drama .. definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat.. plenty of gut wrenching action.. Definitely well worth watching for all Terminator fans.. Without giving away too much there is an indestructible Rev-9 assassin .. a young girl Dani Ramos.. a hybrid cyborg Grace, Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton).. and of course T-800 Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger)  Movie Trailer

The Farewell 2019 - is a Chinese American drama .. with an outstanding cast.. The film follows a family who after hearing their grandmother has been diagnosed with cancer .. travels to China to be with her and tell her only that the family is gathering due to her grandson"s marriage (fake)..not revealing to her that she has cancer..  

I have to say at first I really didn't know what to expect.. but the movie grabs you immediately and I loved it.. I thought at first they should tell her of her diagnosis.. however I found myself learning along with the granddaughter Billi who desperately wanted to tell her beloved grandmother in order to say their goodbyes.. in the end understanding the reason why the family didn't.. Amazing film..
