Lets Talk About "GOT" Season 8 Episode 3 ..

First of all I wasn't going to write a Season 8 review until the Season's conclusion.. but that was quickly tossed out the window.. after seeing tonight's Episode 3 epic fight scene with the White Walkers.. which was totally AMAZING.. by far it was one of the most epic fight scenes of all time.. and is definitely a fight scene that not only lived up to the hype but every "GOT" fans expectations..
The fight was everything I personally could have asked for .. it was full of drama.. and hold your breath, gripping action.. Loved Every Minute of It..There are just no way to truly describe this Scene.. Episode .. or Series for that matter

and just in case you have not yet read my review of the Epic HBO Series Game of Thrones.. I have decided to repost it below..
_______________________________________________________________________________

Game of Thrones 2011 - HBO's GOT has led in series since the moment it appeared, with a huge following of viewers.  It has an outstanding cast, exceptional story, dynamic special effects and although sadly Season 8 will end the series.  I have no doubt they will go out on top.. and be viewed in record numbers by dedicated followers.

While I am not going to give you the details of the series know that it is a dramatic fantasy series with huge attention paid to its medieval realism.  From the start it has generated buzz over its battle over good vs evil, hedonistic and political palace intrigue this series continually keeps you on the edge of your seat..  Remember this new year will be their last so you have time to binge watch every season before April and I am even considering on binge watching the seasons again before the last season starts just to totally immerse myself in the drama that Season 8 will assuredly bring.

I also want to mention I am totally a Jon Snow driven person.. I think he is the epitome of what a man should be.  I also can't wait until this season to see what comes of the union between Jon and  Daenerys (known to many as the Mother to Dragons).

Daenerys Targaryen to Jon Snow
I spent my life in foreign lands. So many men have tried to kill me, I don't remember all their names. I have been sold like a broodmare. I've been chained and betrayed, raped and defiled. Do you know what kept me standing through all those years in exile? Faith. Not in any gods. Not in myths and legends. In myself. In Daenerys Targaryen. The world hadn't seen a dragon in centuries until my children were born. The Dothraki hadn't crossed the sea. Any sea. They did for me. I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms, and I will."

Trust me this series will completely keep you spellbound, it has everything anyone could want and after the conclusion there will be so many dedicated followers left wanting more ( including me.. )
I cannot sing the Game of Thrones praises more other than saying many series come and go but the ones of this quality are very few and far between.  I am sad already knowing The End Is Upon Us!

I know HBO is probably already hard at work to provide everyone follow ups to the series which I hope will be of the same quality.

Best TV Reality Shows.. Watch Worthy Anytime

Let me first say I have these TV Reality Series in NO PARTICULAR ORDER..  I just wanted to share some of my particular favorites as to what are binge worthy series ..

1.   The Kardashians "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" 2007 - is a reality TV series that focuses on the personal and professional lives of the Kardashian-Jenner blended family.. The series mainly focuses on the sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian along with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.. However it also features their brother Rob Kardashian, mother Kris Kardashian Jenner,  Kendall and Kylie Jenner's father Bruce (Caitlyn Jenner) .. as well as now that all of the girls are grown their respected relationships the show features them as well.. Koutney's ex husband Scott Disick.. Kim's husband Kanye West, Khloe's ex fiance' Tristan Thompson.. Kylie's fiance' Travis Scott ..along with other friends and extended family appearances through the years..

The Kardashian family from the beginning of the series has literally grown before our eyes.. and all the girls but Kendall now have children of their own.. The series charm lies in the fact that it shows the good, bad and ugly of the dynamics of the family.. The ability to see all of their highs and lows play out through their show is part of why viewers love it..

2.   Shark Tank 2009 - is a reality TV show that allows entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to a panel of  investors (sharks) who if interested can invest their own money in their ideas.  I love this show and just like other viewers watch it regularly to see what new products and ideas could be the next big thing..  I think overall a lot of people think I wish I had thought of that.. at least I know I do..

3.   The Voice 2011 - is a singing competition show.  The show like the name is based on contestants that are picked by professional artists solely by their vocal ability.  If more than one professional artist is interested the contestants get to decide which artist they would like to work with.  Over the course of the show the contestants go through a process in order to eventually advance into the live performance phase in which the viewers are allowed to vote.  Almost everyone I know loves this show and a version of The Voice is in almost every country in the world.  Personally I love the blind auditions and seeing the contestants face when they get the attention of the professional artists.

4.   Dancing with the Stars 2005 - is a yearly dance competition show.  The show invites celebrities from all genres to come on the show and with the help of a professional dancer learns to dance (shake a tail feather) to win the mirror ball trophy.  Everyone I know tries ( just like myself )  to watch every episode when it comes on and vote on the dancers. I know the show has been on for years but it still has a huge viewer following.. Viewers love to see which celebrities can excel at learning ballroom or who actually has two left feet.

5.   America's Got Talent 2006 - is a reality show that allows contestants from all walks of life, genres, ages, and countries to compete against each other to win a cash prize and the ability to headline a show in Las Vegas.  I can honestly say I watch the show more so to see the variety of the acts, because you see everything from sword swallowing, singers, dancers, and comedians along with every other thing you can imagine.. I really love judges ( Mel B, Howie, Simon, and Heidi ) but have to say I miss Nick Cannon I think he was the best presenter.

6.    So You Think You Can Dance 2005 - is a dance competition show that airs yearly.  The show is broken into basically three parts, the open auditions..that take place everywhere around the US and then the academy were they push the dancers in all genres and do cuts as needed until they have the best of the dancers for the live TV show.  Than the live dancers are cut based on the judges and viewing audience.  I love this show and think it is one of the best competition shows at the present time

7.   The Real World (Real World)  1992 - is a reality TV series on MTV..  was originally inspired by the 1973 PBS series titled "An American Family" .. and was one of the reality shows that is being credited with spawning the reality TV phenomenon of today..  The series focuses on young adults picked to live in a new city together ..while every aspect of their lives are filmed non-stop..  In the beginning the series was hailed for showing issues with sexuality..AIDS, substance abuse.. and other dynamics of what today's young adults are dealing with.. however the show has also met with mixed reviews for showing irresponsible behavior and the decline of morality in today's youth..

I must admit I did watch it religiously during the early years.. but overtime I have to agree the excessive immaturity issues and over the top personalities started to get to me.. so I don't watch it like I once did..

8.   Deadliest Catch 2005 -  is a documentary series on Discovery Channel.. The series focuses on the real life events aboard Bering Sea fishing vessels.. during the Alaskan king, opilio and bairdi crab fishing seasons..  The Port of Dutch Harbor Alaska ..(Aleutian Islands) is the base of operations for the fishing fleet.. The series takes it's name from the high risk work that every hand on board the vessels must face every time they go out..  Many people that I know watch this series religiously.. while not having watched every season .. from start to finish.. I do think the show does a great job at showing the sacrifice and dangers every individual on the vessels face in order to earn a living..  The series is gripping and keeps you on the edge of your seat ..from start to finish..

Honorable Mention...

Ice Road Truckers (commercially abbreviated IRT) 2007 - 2017 - was a reality series on the History Channel .. The series focused on the activities of operators who drove semi-trucks on seasonal routes crossing frozen lakes and rivers in remote Arctic territories (Alaska and Canada) .. including dangerous routes known as the Dalton Highway.. an ice and snow covered solid ground.. However the newer seasons mainly focused on routes in Manitoba..  and in freezing temperatures these truckers not only met with route hazards but at times had to deal with mechanical issues with their rigs.. The series was hypnotizing and riveting from start to finish.. You tend to get invested in the drivers ..

IRT spawned the series IRT Deadliest Roads.. 2010-2011  which featured some of the truckers as they tackled some of the most deadliest roads in the world.. including the extremely dangerous mountain roads of the Himalayas in India as well as the South America's Andes Mountains..  which I have to admit were in some ways more challenging because they were met with much more mechanical issues as they dealt with much older equipment.. as well as gut wrenching roads that literally were so narrow they were horrifying..

I watched both of these series and truly enjoyed them both..

2.  Goodfellas 1990  - is an American crime film directed by Martin Scorsese.. and based on the 1985 non fiction book "Wiseguy" by Nicholas Pileggi.. The film highlights the rise and fall of the mob associate Henry Hill and his friends and family from 1955 to 1980.. full of action this mob crime drama ranks up there with the best ..

3.  Rocky 1976  - is a sports drama that is written by and stars Sylvester Stallone.. The film tells the story of Rocky Balboa and is a rags to riches story of an uneducated but kind hearted working class Italian American boxer who rose from the slums of Philly .. The film is amazing and has over the years spawned many sequels.. The original Rocky has stood the test of time as an iconic feel good film loved by everyone..

While I am definitely not the biggest horror genre fan.. I do tend to watch the occasional thriller film..

1.  Pet Sematary 2019 - is a supernatural horror film and the second adaptation of the 1983 book by the same name by Stephen King.  The first Pet Sematary film was released in 1989..

In the film .. Louis Creed a doctor moves from Boston Massachusetts to the small town of Ludlow Maine with his wife Rachel and their two kids Ellie and Gage.. along with their cat Church.. They soon meet their neighbor Jud Crandall who warns the Creeds of the dangers in the woods and not to venture out alone.. After Church the cat is killed by a truck Jud takes Louis to the Pet Sematary to bury Church however after being told that Church means so much to Ellie Jud leads him farther to an ancient burial ground .. The next day Louis is stunned to find Church alive but much more aggressive.. The film is definitely scary.. and very reminiscent of the original Pet Sematary film..The new film is gripping, heart wrenching and terrifying .. I was literally on the edge of my seat..

Jennifer Lopez.. Films

I love J Lo .. and over the years have enjoyed many of her films ...

Second Act 2018 - is definitely a feel good woman's movie, it has everything anyone could ask for.. comedy, romance and an outstanding cast including Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens, Leah Remini, and Milo Ventimiglia.  In the movie Jennifer Lopez plays a woman in her 40s who wants to move up in her career at a grocery store, however she is passed over for lack of credentials.. Than after a friend's son creates her a fake resume, credentials and a social media presence she is offered a new position ( a second chance ) to live the life that she has always dreamt of..

I have to be honest I not only found the movie extremely enjoyable but also very touching.. After all,  I think many people who have years of experience can identify with being passed over due to a lack of education credentials.. but for me the movie touched on so much more..  Leaving me crying at what she thought she had loss..

Lila and Eve  - After the senseless murder of her son (Aml Ameen), a grief-stricken mother (Viola Davis) joins forces with another woman (Jennifer Lopez) for vigilante justice.. Full drama, action and suspense.. Eve is not who you think she is.. loved it..

Selena - biographical drama..  Selena Quintanilla (Jennifer Lopez) is apart of a musical Mexican-American family.  Abraham (Edward James Olmos) her father realizes that Selena is talented.. She falls in love with her guitarist Chris Perez.. However almost as soon as she finds success her young life is cut short..

Enough - A young woman named Slim (Jennifer Lopez) thinks her dreams have come true when she marries wealthy contractor Mitch (Billy Campbell).  However her dreams are soon shattered when she discovers her husband is having an affair.  Mitch quickly becomes abusive and Slim goes on the run with her young daughter..

The Boy Next Door - Not long after Noah (Ryan Guzman) moves in next door Claire Peterson (Jennifer Lopez) finds herself in a harmless flirtatious relationship.. Although Noah spends much of the time hanging out with Claire's son.. One night, Claire gives in to temptation allowing the relationship to turn sexual..  but when she tries to end the relationship Noah turns violent.

An Unfinished Life Einar (Robert Redford), a recovering alcoholic rancher gets an unexpected visit from his daughter-in-law, Jean (Jennifer Lopez), and granddaughter, Griff (Becca Gardner). Einar holds a grudge against Jean because he feels she's responsible for his son's accidental death, but he reluctantly lets her stay at the farm when he learns that she's trapped in a violent relationship. Overall the movie is amazing especially the bond between the grandfather and his grand-daughter

In the end, I love Jennifer Lopez and her movies always make me smile and tug at my heart..

The Wedding Planner -  Mary (Jennifer Lopez) is a young successful wedding planner who is rescued from a near-fatal collision with a runaway dumpster by handsome pediatrician Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey).  After the incident they spend a fantastic evening together only to have their paths cross again when Mary realizes he is the groom in one of the weddings she has been hired to plan..

Maid in Manhattan -  Marisa Ventura (Jennifer Lopez) is a single NYC mother born who works as a maid at a upscale Manhattan hotel.  Christopher Marshall (Ralph Fiennes) a rising man in politics  mistakes her as a guest in the hotel.. and drama quickly ensues..

The Backup Plan -Tired of waiting for Mr. Right while her biological clock ticks away, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) decides it's time to make an appointment at the sperm bank. On the same day as her procedure, she meets Stan (Alex O'Loughlin).. and drama ensues ..

1.  Avengers: Endgame 2019 - is a superhero film which is based on Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers.. The film is the sequel to The Avengers 2012, Avengers Age of Ultron 2015 and Avengers Infinity War 2018.. and is suppose to be the final film in the Infinity Saga..The film features an outstanding cast with many of the superhero characters including Ant Man (Paul Rudd) .. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) ...Captain Marvel (Brie Larson),  Captain America (Chris Evans),  Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Rocket (Bradley Cooper)..along with many others

In the film the surviving members of the Avengers and their allies work to reverse the damage caused by Thanos in Infinity War... I have to admit after seeing " Avengers Endgame " I found myself a little disappointed because while not having been a long time superhero fan .. I really became a huge fan after watching movies like "Black Panther" and  " Avengers: Infinity War".. Ultimately  "Endgame" was for me somewhat of what I would aspect from a superhero movie..

Don't get me wrong..Avengers: Endgame was great.. and the laughter and applause of real die hard superhero movie fans were very evident .. but I felt "Endgame" seemed a little rushed.. most of the characters parts were short and more comedic in nature.. In the film some of the biggest parts from my standpoint were that of Antman's, Ironman's, Captain America's and Black Widow's.. The film was in my opinion was a feel good fan based film and definitely featured more superheros than I knew even existed.. (or could name for that matter) ..  For me the film didn't convey the masterful explosion of captivating special effects that "Infinity War" delivered.. but I still highly recommend the film if you are a big superhero film buff.. because it delivers on magnitude overload.. Overall it is a film well worth seeing..

After seeing it a second time.. I definitely feel overall the film is great.. and well worthy of a superhero blockbuster.. ..but still just a bit rushed especially during the dynamic fight scene The film has several comedic parts.. and more superheros than I can count .. but I enjoyed the film immensely and highly recommend watching it a second time in order to capture all the details.. you might have missed the first time around..

Lang who is supposed to be on house arrest is kidnapped by Pym and his daughter in order to help them retrieve Pym's wife Janet.. In this film there are a lot of twist and turns.. and even more special effects.. I loved it.. Very Enjoyable Family Film.. A definite must see..
