Look every year I look forward to the New TV Line up.. so here is what I am watching right now on TV and my views of the New TV Shows presented..

Sunday Nights 


Kids Say the Darndest Things.. 2019 .. The new show is hosted by Tiffany Haddish and is a fresh look on the old show ..


New Season starts this week  Shark Tank 2009 - is a reality TV show that allows entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to a panel of  investors (sharks) who if interested can invest their own money in their ideas.  I love this show and just like other viewers watch it regularly to see what new products and ideas could be the next big thing..  I think overall a lot of people think I wish I had thought of that.. at least I know I do..


New Season just started..God Friended Me 2018 -  This CBS comedy just finished the first season and has definitely won me over.  The series is based on a young man named Miles Finer who is or was as the case maybe a self-proclaimed atheist whose life is complicated when he receives a friend request from God on social media.  He soon learns that the friend requests sent by God are people who need his help in some way.  There is a lot more to the story but I don't want to give too much away from this adorable and extremely well written storyline.  I will just say that any uplifting show in this day and age is an improvement we all should embrace.

Monday 

New Season just started.. 911 2018-present Fox  is an action drama series that follows the lives of Los Angeles first responders..including police officers, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers.. The show features some intense traumatic and heart stopping moments.. as well as many controversial subjects.. I truly love this show..

New Season just started..The Voice 2011 - is a singing competition show.  The show like the name is based on contestants that are picked by professional artists solely by their vocal ability.  If more than one professional artist is interested the contestants get to decide which artist they would like to work with.  Over the course of the show the contestants go through a process in order to eventually advance into the live performance phase in which the viewers are allowed to vote.  Almost everyone I know loves this show and a version of The Voice is in almost every country in the world.  Personally I love the blind auditions and seeing the contestants face when they get the attention of the professional artists.

New Season just started  ..Dancing with the Stars 2005 - is a yearly dance competition show.  The show invites celebrities from all genres to come on the show and with the help of a professional dancer learns to dance (shake a tail feather) to win the mirror ball trophy.  Everyone I know tries ( just like myself )  to watch every episode when it comes on and vote on the dancers. I know the show has been on for years but it still has a huge viewer following.. Viewers love to see which celebrities can excel at learning ballroom or who actually has two left feet.

Prodigal Son Fox 2019  - is an upcoming crime drama series and set to premiere on Sept 23 2019.. The series focuses on a young extremely gifted criminal psychologist and criminal profiler Malcolm Bright ..whose father is an infamous serial killer known as " The Surgeon ".. Not only does his father want to bond with Bright .. but his mother is manipulative and he has a NYPD detective that wonders if Bright might be a psychopath himself..

New Season just started The Neighborhood 2018 - This CBS comedy series is a winner.  The story is a young white family from Michigan moves into a black neighborhood in LA.  The cast is outstanding and is led by Cedric the Entertainer who sees the new neighbors friendly and naive demeanor as somewhat annoyingly hilarious.  This is definitely a show full of chuckles galore and in this day and age it does show that while everyone is different we are essentially the same.  After all it takes a village and change can start by simply being neighbors.

New Season just started..The Good Doctor 2017-present ABC  is a medical drama series.. that follows Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) a young autistic surgeon with savant syndrome as he takes a position with San Jose St Bonaventure Hospital.. as he struggles to connect personally and master his medical skills in order to save lives and receive approval from his colleagues..

Bluff City Law.. 2019 .. Interesting show.. great cast.. I enjoyed the pilot and look forward to seeing more.. fighting white collar crime in order to win for the greater good.. MEMPHIS TN


Tuesday.. 

The Conners is back.. The show in my opinion is doing good hanging on since the dismissal of Roseann Barr.. I love the comedy and I will continue watching

This is Us is back..  This is Us 2016 - is a NBC comedy drama series that follows on the lives and families of two parents and their three children.. The show features an exceptional cast that includes Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K.Brown, Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, as well as many others..  I love this show and I am definitely not the only one.. from the first episode it has become a big hit with viewers.. Each episode is like a roller coaster ride.. making you laugh, tugging at your heart, bringing you to tears, as well as holding your breath.. I love this show and know you will too.. Truly outstanding and amazing.. A definite must see show

New season just started New Amsterdam 2018-present NBC  is a medical drama series ..that follows Dr. Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) as the new medical director at New Amsterdam Hospital .. as he aims to reform healthcare as we know it.. including a massive overhaul of medical staff, bureaucracy, and the neglected facility.. I love this show..


Wednesday

New Season just started.. The Masked Singer premiered in 2019 Fox  is a competition singing series hosted by Nick Cannon .. The show is based on the South Korean hit show King of Mask Singer..  The series features celebrities singing in head to toe costumes meant to hide their identities (ie. Monster, Unicorn).. at the end of the show one is voted to reveal their identity..

I have to admit at first I was terribly upset that after numerous competition and game shows..  this is what the powers that be had decided to offer viewers as a new show.. feeling that they had reached an all time low .. but after researching more on the origin ..and after watching it.. I can understand why the show is a hit..   After all its a guessing game on who is behind the mask from what I have seen they can be anyone from a sports to TV celebrity that we wouldn't think of as a singer .. and for the celebrity it gives them a chance to show a talent that they may have never displayed before..

Stumptown.. 2019  The new crime drama is definitely action packed .. will continue to watch.. love the cast and the bits of comedy thrown in.. think it will be a hit show..


Thursday

New Season just started.. Grey's Anatomy - Medical drama (based out of a fictional Seattle hospital) that first premiered in 2005.  I know medical TV shows are not everyone's cup of tea, however for me and most of the people I know they are very engaging and quickly draw the viewer's attention.. They usually contain severe medical conditions that many people will either identify with in some way or will cause the viewer to feel a real concern about what the outcome will ultimately be (at times you may end up sitting on the edge of your seat to see if someone lives or dies). LOVE THIS SHOW .. keeps you invested in the characters.. throughout the seasons


New season just started.. A Million Little Things 2018 - is a ABC drama series that focuses on a tight group of friends that are completely shocked after a member of the group commits suicide unexpectedly.. After the series starts you soon realize the man was not only a family man but the glue that held the group together.. the others in the group consist of the deceased wife with a secret.. a single man who is a breast cancer survivor.. a musician father with marital problems, his wife who is doing her best to juggle her career as an attorney, parenting and her marriage.. a married man who has had some difficulty finding his way in life.. his culinary chef wife who dreams of opening her own restaurant.. and the new member of the group that is a therapist and becomes the cancer survivors love interest.. In the show each of them realize that they have to now learn to go on with their lives and lean on each other .. but all of them are struggling to figure out why their friend committed suicide..

The show features an outstanding cast.. and is gut wrenching and heartwarming all at the same time.. Love.. Love.. Love this show..

New Season just started.. Law and Order - SVU premiered in 1999.  SVU (Special Victims Unit) is a spinoff of the original Law and Order series.  The intention of the show is to highlight cases based on the sex crimes bureau which is a unit that focuses on sexually based offenses, as well as crimes against children.  In my opinion SVU is not the typical police drama it deals with very sensitive subject and the cast of the show is outstanding.  I binge watch SVU even when I think I have seen every episode out there.. which shows how much I enjoy this show.


New Show  Evil  2019   Skeptical female psychologist (Kristen Bouchard) teams up with (David Acosta) a Catholic priest in training along with a blue collar contractor to investigate unexplained mysteries, miracles, and demonic possessions.. This show looks to be amazing..



Friday 


20/20  ABC - is a hard hitting prime time news program.. with co-anchors Amy Robach and David Muir.. The show features everything from investigative reports to in-depth interviews.. It is hard to put into words how insightful this show is.. I just know I love it and have watched it faithfully over the years except for when I was overseas with the US Armed Forces..

NBC.. Dateline premiered in 1992 and has much the same format as 20/20.. highlighting many human interest stories, true crime and in depth investigative specials (i.e. To Catch a Predator)


Saturday 

I usually take Saturdays to catch up on Movies,, Netflix or Hulu.. as well as some of my premium channel series..
